Second, I’d like to ask everyone to keep Blake Wilkie in their prayers and wish him well. Blake’s been in the hospital for the last several days dealing with a health emergency. As that’s all he’s chosen to share publicly so far, I’ll leave it at that. Blake has done quite a bit of work for us over the years here. He colored most of Stalker: Donning the Mask and also three of the shorts in Gateway Legends. In addition he contributed additional art pieces for Stalker #3, Stalker #4, Gateway Legends and a B cover for Stalker #6. He is currently working on his own project, a fantasy story he planned to publish on the Gateway Comics website and those of you familiar with my Patreon know that getting him back on colors is one of the goals of the Patreon. All of us here at Gateway Comics wish him a speedy recovery and hope he’s able to go home soon.
On to the page. The action continues this week as Stalker tries to get away from this team of para-military soldiers. As skilled and capable as she is, Stalker relies on the element of surprise and various tricks to make up for the fact that she’s just not a very big person. On the run, outnumbered, and having to deal with a well trained and coordinated force, she’s at a big disadvantage.
What does fate have in store for her? You’ll just have to come back next week, won’t you.
