Gaia thinks she’s so clever. She’s gotten her revenge against that oath of a husband, and she didn’t have to do the deed herself. Now, her loyal son sits on the throne.
Her daughter, Themis, however, has a different, and maybe better considered view on things. She thinks Gaia has been rash and short sighted. All of this will come back to bite then in the end and they have not heard the last from Uranus. Maybe she has some special insight, or maybe she’s just upset because her dad has been murdered, but as if to put a finer point on it, the wind whips sands into Gaia’s eyes. Don’t forget, Uranus was god of the sky, long before Zeus was known for that role.
